My 'rents took us on a trip to the Riviera Maya in February. It was a nice break from all the snow in Ohio. We stayed at a beach-side condo in Akumal, and spent a week snorkeling and visiting a couple Mayan ruins.

Here's a pic of some ruins at Tulum. There was a beautiful beach here, and many iguanas.

We spent a day at a place called Hidden Worlds where we got to zipline through the jungle, rappel into a cave, and snorkel in cave cenotes (underground rivers). Unfortunately, we don't have photos of this because we were too busy with the activities to take pictures.

We also went snorkeling in the ocean almost daily. The sea turtle sightings were one of the coolest parts of our trip.
